Qari uses a speech model trained on Quran recitation. It downloads once (about 82 MB) on first launch. After that, checking works offline. Your recitation is compared with the Quran text, and each word is marked wrong, missed or extra. Tap any word to see what was heard, hear the correct pronunciation by Al-Husary, and hear your own recitation.
Choose Easy, Medium or Hard: Easy forgives letters that sound alike, Hard needs every letter to match. Every recitation is saved on your phone, so you can see this score next to your average and best, and follow your progress over time. You can also listen to Al-Husary recite your chosen ayahs or the whole surah, repeated as often as you like, at up to 2× speed.
Qari checks words, not tajweed or harakat. In a noisy room, pauses can be harder to detect. Recite somewhere quiet for best results.
