Privacy Policy

Admonere (“we”, “us”) is a birthday and anniversary reminder service operated by Reliable Softwares. This policy explains what information the Admonere app and website collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Admonere you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you create an account we store your name, email address, and optionally your city and country. Your password is stored so we can sign you in.
• Reminders you create. To remind you of important dates, we store the information you enter about the people and occasions you add — names, event types, dates (Gregorian and/or Hijri), and, where you provide them, the email addresses and phone numbers used to send greetings.
• Contacts (optional). If you choose to import birthdays and grant Contacts permission, the app reads your device contacts only so you can select which ones to import. We save only the entries you choose to import, as reminders. We do not upload, store, or share your entire address book, and you can decline this permission and still use the app.
• Calendar import (optional). If you import dates from Google Calendar, from Google Contacts, or from a calendar file or link (.ics), we read that calendar only to find birthdays and anniversaries to show you, and we save only the entries you select. See Google Calendar and Google Contacts below.
• Usage data. We record basic, first-party usage events (such as app opens, screens viewed, and device platform) to understand how the app is used and to improve it. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

How we use your information

• To operate the service and remind you of upcoming dates.
• To send greeting emails on your behalf to the people you add, when you enable that option, and to let you send greetings yourself (for example over WhatsApp).
• To maintain the security of your account and improve the app.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the service:

• Email delivery. Greeting and notification emails are delivered through our email service provider, which processes them solely to send mail on our behalf.
• Legal. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

Google Calendar and Google Contacts (optional)

If you choose to import dates with Connect Google, Google asks you to sign in and approve access. We request two read-only permissions:

• See your calendars (calendar.readonly) — to read yearly, all-day events from your calendars so we can show you the birthdays and anniversaries they contain.
• See your contacts (contacts.readonly) — to read your contacts’ birthdays and saved events, together with the email address and phone number of those contacts, so that the reminders you import can send greetings to the right person.

We never request write access, and we never create, modify, or delete anything in your Google account. Access is momentary: we use a short-lived token once, only to build the list of dates shown to you, and discard it immediately afterwards. We do not request offline access, we are never issued a refresh token, and we store no Google credentials of any kind. Nothing from your Google account is saved unless you tick it on the import screen and confirm — and then we save only the reminder itself (name, occasion, date, and any email address or phone number attached to it).

You can revoke Admonere’s access at any time from Google Account › Third-party apps & services. Revoking access does not delete reminders you already imported — you can remove those in the app at any time.

Limited Use of Google user data

Admonere’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In particular, information obtained from Google Calendar and Google Contacts is used only to provide the import feature you asked for. We do not sell it, do not transfer it to third parties, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalised artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. No human reads this data, except where you explicitly ask us to in order to provide support, where it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, or where we are required to by law.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure. We take reasonable measures to protect it, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices and data deletion

• You can edit or delete individual reminders at any time in the app.
• You can remove all of your reminder data using Delete All Reminders.
• Delete your account. You can permanently delete your account and everything attached to it yourself, at any time — no request or approval needed. In the app: Settings › Delete account. On the web: Delete my account (also linked from your Profile page). This removes your account and sign-in details, every reminder and greeting you created, and your usage and referral history. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. If you need help, you can still reach us at solutions@reliablesoftwares.com.

Children’s privacy

Admonere is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
